for some reason @SlackHQ nick tab completion cannot nail what irc clients have done for ever, if I tab 3 leters, slack returns the first name in alphabetical order of “Name Lastname” who has a partial match, so “suc” matches “absolute sucks” before of “sucks”

Is there a way to prevent macos from allowing windows to steal focus? it is really annoying that you start something in background and it steals focus of you typing to show you a splash screen or whatever.
