In Reply to @mrxinu @mrxinu I decide what time I start/end a day and have an ordered and prioritized list of stuff and I do them. If I am interrupted by a fixed time event I put the remainder of the task back in the queue. I usually have a large backlog and the list covers ~2 days worth of things

In Reply to @mrxinu @mrxinu Ah, that kind of routine. Yeah, I suspect kids do not hate it because they have no time-bound responsibilities yet? you know, like a teenager vacation time thing. I for example replaced routine for an always append schedule type (I am bad at estimating durations)
