In Reply to @perrito666 @chase2hoop The countries are France and Argentina, you can likely find good examples of how the IDs look like. When everyone has the same id piece you know the basics about spotting a fake one and polling station ppl get a bit of extra info to be careful.

In Reply to @chase2hoop @chase2hoop The IDs are standardized at a national level, most of the security features of a passport on both cases, not unfalsifiable but doing so at scale is not economically viable (in both cases is a direct vote system so law of large numbers corrects for small deviations)

In Reply to @chase2hoop @chase2hoop I have voted in 2 such countries, the voting place is assigned according to your registered address (you can contest said address in at least one of the countries) they set cutout dates and send paper lists to the poll place (has id info+latest valid revision)
